The unit incorporates a simple button operation and the button is shielded to prevent accidental shut-off. The unit has an IP 65 rating with filters and decontamination plugs fitted to the filter and hose ports, making it suitable for cleaning by showering/water spray. M-Series Helmets and both have a flame resistant polyester faceseal for applications with sparks and hot particles, while also offering respiratory, bumpcap, eye and face protection. has an integrated helmet for areas where hard hats are mandatory. The headtops allow for increased control and comfort with the deflector which allows users to direct the airflow inside the headtop. Maintainence is simple with spare parts and accessories that are quick, easy and intuitive to replace. The visor design combines excellent peripheral and downward vision with good optical clarity.

Filter options cover a wide spectrum of uses as detailed below. The filters attach to the Proflow pointing downwards and are tucked away and less exposed to being knocked/damaged or being saturated by the rain.

: Solid and liquid particles of toxic agents, radioactive substances and microorganisms, e.g. bacteria and viruses.

: Organic gases and vapours, e.g. solvents with a boiling point above 65ºC, solid and liquid particles, radioactive and toxic particles and micro-organisms.

(suitable for FULL MASK ONLY) (5042799): Organic, inorganic and acid gases and vapours as well as ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives, solid and liquid hazardous particles, e.g. radioactive and toxic substances and micro-organisms.

Dental PAPR respiratory protection for aerosol generating procedures

  • Twice the respiratory protection (APF 40) compared to FFP3 or reusable P3 half masks (APF20)
  • Offers additional face & eye protection
  • Can be worn for in excess of 1 hour without the burden on the user.
  • Suitable for use with facial hair and doesn’t need fit testing

Did you know?

  • According to HSE Guidance (HSG53), all users of negative pressure tight-fitting masks should take a break at least every hour to reduce the risk of wearer fatigue. Wearing powered air respirators removes this need and so employees can work continuously, more comfortably for longer durations.
  • Employees who have a beard or facial hair are not suitable to use tight-fitting negative pressure respirators, therefore the recommended alternative is Powered Air respiratory systems. Powered Air Respirators, when worn with loose-fitting head tops, are a convenient alternative solution, allowing users to retain facial hair and have a high level of protection against hazards.
  • Powered Air Respirators are cooler. Heat levels within a powered air respirator head top are lower than using negative pressure as breath exhalation can cause heat build-up within the mask. Powered air respirators are fan assisted, providing a cooling effect for wearers.
